Stephanie has been traveling the world and her own backyard for two decades creating visual images in the form of fine art photography, creative event photography, portraits, and still life. Her current personal project is photographing horses in need of rescue.
Her B&W European images were favorably reviewed by the New York Times and her event work has been seen in both the Westchester Magazine and the Oprah Magazine. She has had exhibitions in galleries in Manhattan and was recognized by the Save Venice organization when she had an opening at the Allen Sheppard Gallery showcasing her night images of that magnificent city.
She has been documenting families through weddings, mitzvahs, and portrait sessions for over two decades--her clients continue to seek her out every year to continue their "story."
She loves to travel to destination weddings and always has her passport active and wheeled camera bag ready to go.
She currently divides her time between New York and Southern Maine.
What Stephanie has to say about being a photographer:
I am excited to live my life being a professional photographer; it is a passion.
Getting to know my "subject" is a major factor in my portrait and event photo shoots. An emotional connection, a true understanding of the person/people who will be in front of my lens, is what enables me to bring out the best in my photography clients. I have learned over the years to understand how vulnerable one can feel when standing in front of a camera. It takes trust between the photographer and the subject.
I am a story teller of your wedding day, a mitzvah, or the few hours we spend together creating your senior, child, maternity, or head shot images. Life is all about moments experienced--it is my pleasure to capture them for you with my camera and vision.
More importantly, I want you to have fun on your shoot and be able to say how lucky you were to have found me….
